Yazd Friendly Traditional Hotel is located in the Fahadan neighborhood near Yazd Jame Mosque. The Doostane hotel, which is the Persian word for Friendly dates back to the eighty years ago, Pahlavi era, but it was reconstructed and acted as a traditional hotel in 2016.
The entrance to Yazd Friendly House is a large wooden door that opens towards a corridor. Inside the corridor, there’s a vestibule which ends to a magnificent courtyard. In the middle of the courtyard, there is a large big star shape pond surrounded by lush greenery gardens. On the left of the yard, there is a wide and tall hallway and a kitchen under the hall.
Adobe walls with wooden doors reminds the old time. The smell of adobe (the mixture of soil, straw), is the first reminder and symbol of the distant past. The time when the hard-working and contented people of Yazd, changed the soil into gold (built valuable and priceless buildings, made tiles, potteries, etc.) and the magnificent architecture and monuments paved the way for Yazd glory.
