Orient Hotel

The traditional Orient Hotel in Yazd is one of the 3 chain hotels in the Silk Road Group of Yazd, which is a mud brick house dating back to Qajar era (150 years ago).
Passing through a narrow and arched alley located in the historical context near Masjed-e Jameh, you reach an old mansion where a large wooden gate leads you to the hallway which is in historic designs and ends to the traditional Orient hotel.
Walking in the big yard of Orient Hotel in Yazd and watching the wooden chairs and small rugs on the other side of the yard, take you to the sweet days old days and make you feel the joy of traditional life. There is a small carpet weaving frame, where you can sit and experience carpet weaving with your own hands.
Also, on the other side of the Orient Traditional Hotel, there is a wooden windlass that reminds us of the efforts ancient people and how they pulled out water from the bottom of the well with their hands.
In any parts of the traditional Orient Hotel in Yazd, you can see pots, old potteries, traditional couches around the courtyard, and a large hall in the middle of the vaulted corridors which have created a charming place for the hotel guests to relax and enjoy themselves. On the rooftop of the Orient Hotel, there are also traditional couches where you can sit and dine at the hotel's restaurant and drink some drink served from the coffee shop.
