The Vesta Guest House is the first hostel in historic Zoroastrian village named Mazraeh-ye Kalantar. This village is the main place for Zoroastrians gathering to perform their special ceremonies, for example the great celebrations of Nowruz, Farvardin Gah, Panjeh, Mehregan, Sadeh and Deyegan.
When staying in Vesta Guest House, you can learn about the costumes and traditions of Zoroastrian people of the village who at the time of ceremonies get engaged in preparing fruits such as watermelon, pomegranate, apples, melons, grapes and snacks such as nuts, sweets and sherbets while they’re wearing their local clothing. They keep on singing, dancing, having fun till after midnight. They pray and thank god for their health, all the things he has given them.
