Types of Faloode
There are different kinds of Falude in Iran, the most famous and popular of which are Faloode Shirazi and Faloode Yazdi.
Falude Shirazi
Faloode Shirazi is more popular and can be found almost in all parts of the country; although it is local to Shiraz. Falude Shirazi presented in the form of frozen thin noodles sweeten by some kind of syrup. It can be bought from ice cream stores and it is served alone or with ice cream. Sour cherry syrup and lime juice are siders of Faloode Shirazi.
Faloodeh Yazdi
Falude Yazdi is another popular kind of Faloode that is mainly found in Yazd and it is the most popular dessert among the locals. Like Falude Shirazi, it is in the form of noodles of starch, but it is not frozen and it is soaked in cold sugar and rose water syrup.
Faloodeh Yazdi is a perfect dessert for long and hot spring and summer days of Yazd when nothing else seems to quench thirst.
Although Faloodeh Yazdi is a very popular in Yazd, its price is totally fair.
