National Garden Park in Yazd

Yazd National Garden is a large park with an area of 8000 m2 which was built in 1981 in downtown of Yazd. It is located at the corner of Azadi sq., one of the oldest squares of Yazd. National Garden Park is a lush green garden located on the side of City Hall of Yazd. 
It is greened mainly by elm and pine trees which have created a cool place for resting or having a picnic in hot days in Yazd.  National Garden Park is one of the first parks in Yazd which has been reconstructed recently and a singing fountain has been added to it which has doubled the beauty and charm of the park. In summer nights, lots of children from different parks of the city come to the park to play in fountain and activate the life in the park and neighboring area. In addition to the alluring fountain, there is a playground, outdoor sport equipment, as well as an ice cream shop in the National Park to make the visitors enjoy their time in the park as much as possible.
Just in opposite of National Garden, there is popular Setareh Mall which is good place to hang out and do your shopping. To discover the city better, you can walk down Farrokhi street to get to the old part of Yazd and visit lots of historical monuments and attractions of Yazd.
