Shirreza Faloodeh

Shirreza is mainly a producer of sesame products and Shirreza Company was opened in 1963 by Haj Hossein Dehqan known as Shirhossein and it produced sesame cream ( Arde or Tahini), Halva Ardeh, and sesame oil. The products were famous under the Shir Hosein Brand. After Shir Hossein’s death, the company was inherited to his older son, Shirreza (Mohammadreza Dehqan), who handed the company to his brothers and developed his own company under Shirreza Brand in 1998. 

Today, Shirreza Company produces lots of new sesame products including various flavors of sesame cream (Arde), untapped and refined sesame oil, grapeseed oil, peanut oil, peanut butter, sesame Halva, sugar Halva, and Halva Ardeh. These products are exported to and sold in different cities of Iran and even other countries.
In Yazd, it has two branches, the main shop is located on Paknejad Blvd. where you can taste different Traditional Faloodeh Yazdi, ice creams and hot and cold drinks as it has been acting as a coffee shop. In addition to the coffee shop, you can enjoy the fast food and pizzas in its food court section.

To host the tourists better and easier, second branch of Shirreza Faloodeh Shop was opened in recent years on Imam Khomeini street which is near historic city of Yazd and touristic attractions where tourists can refresh after a wander in historic part of the city and buy sesame products for souvenir for family and friends.
