Dr. Hojat House ( Vali Traditional Hotel )

Dr. Hojat House of Yazd is an original old house built according to desert architectural style in Safavid and Qajari dynasties.

Architecture of Dr. Hojat House

To enter the inner courtyard, you have to pass through the front door and a long corridor. The inner part of the house is bigger than its outer part. There are several parts around the courtyard which had been used in different seasons. The façade of the courtyard has fillet decorations.
The old kitchen is at the north-west side of the house and the well and water resource is at the east side. The outer courtyard is at the north-west side of the inner courtyard which entrance at the west side is vestibule - shaped and its spaces can be reached by a corridor. The house has two badgirs, one of which is located above the hall of the inner courtyard and the other above the platform of the outer courtyard. A water pool can be seen in the middle of the two courtyards as well. Dr. Hojat House is mainly made of clay, mud, as well as plaster, bricks, and mortar.

Dr. Hojat House of Yazd is located in Imam Khomeini Street. 
The area of the building is 440 square meters and it is 26 meters long, 17 meters wide and 7 meters high.

Dr. Hojat House of Yazd was registered in Iran National Monuments on March 18, 2008 with registration no. 22770.
