Itinerary

Tehran Arrival at IKA. Welcome to Iran. You will be taken to the hotel in Tehran. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tehran.

Mashhad Have breakfast in the hotel and you will be taken to the airport to leave Tehran to Mashhad. Having checked-in the hotel in Mashhad, take rest, have lunch and go to visit Imam Reza Holy Complex (UNESCO World Heritage Site, and the shrine on Shiite 8th Imam). Overnight stay at the hotel in Mashhad.

Mashhad In the morning, go on a pilgrimage to Imamzadeh Naser and Yaser (Two of Imam Reza’s brothers). Drive to visit county of Torghabeh and enjoy its fresh weather. Then let’s go shopping. Have lunch and return to Mashhad and go on a pilgrimage to Imam Reza’s Holy Complex. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mashhad.

Mashhad Go to visit Chalidarreh Tourist Complex and enjoy its recreational facilities such as fishing, boat riding, bungee jumping, zipline and etc. or just have a picnic and enjoy the cool nature of the area. Have lunch and return to Mashhad to go on pilgrimage to Imam Reza Holy Shrine. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mashhad.

Gorgan Gorgan is the capital of Golestan and is rich in green natural place for sightseeing. After having breakfast in the hotel, go to visit the beautiful Alangdareh Forest Park. Let’s complete our excursion to the woods by a visit to forest of Nahar Khoran and enjoy its clean-air far from the city center. In the afternoon, head to Ziarat Village and visit many tourist attractions like therapeutic hot springs, waterfalls, old villages, soaring and lush mountains. Overnight stay at the hotel in Gorgan.

Gonbad Kavus Drive to Gonbad Kavus to visit Gonbad-e Qabus Tower (the tallest brick tower in the world & a UNESCO World Heritage Site). The next place to visit is the ancient city of Gonbad Kavus which dates back to 6000 years ago. Have lunch and pay a visit to Na'lbandan Bazaar (an old bazaar with different architecture). Bandar Torkaman Head to Bandar Torkaman and pay a visit to Ashuradeh Island (the greatest Iranian island in the Caspian Sea). Gorgan/ Namakabrud Head to the historical part of Gorgan to visit Taghavi House and Bagheri House (which date back to Qajar era). It’s time to farewell Golestan Province and head to Mazandaran Province.
