Isfahan Head to Isfahan to visit Naghshe Jahan Square (a UNESCO world heritage site) which houses Ali Qapu Palace, Imam Mosque, Sheikh Lotfollah Mosque which are some of the most important sights in Isfahan and Iran. Isfahan - Shiraz Start the second day of the city excursion in Isfahan by a visit to great Atiq Mosque and enjoy its magnificent architecture. Then, head to one of the most spectacular cathedrals in Iran, Vank Cathedral, which is located in the Armenian district of Jolfa. Do not miss a walk in the neighborhood and feel the Armenian atmosphere of the district in a city filled with Islamic Art. Shiraz In the early morning, go to visit Nasirolmolk Mosque (known as Pink Mosque by tourists as it is decorated with pink tiles) to witness the fabulous dance of colors. Head to Narenjestan-e-Ghavam Museum (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Then go to visit two of the most famous gardens in the city, i.e. Zinat ol Molk House, Eram Garden (UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the nine Persian Gardens). Shiraz Have breakfast and let’s explore the city deeper. First, go to visit Nazar Garden and Pars Museum in the garden. Persepolis, Necropolis & Pasargadae, Yazd In the morning, leave Shiraz to Yazd. These three sites can narrate the majesty of Persian emperor and kings such as Cyrus and Darius as well as the history of the Great Persia. Yazd Start the day visit by paying a visit to the Zoroastrian Fire Temple (housing holy fire burning for over a thousand years). Kharanaq - Meybod - Yazd Leave Yazd to Kharanaq Village, one of the most intact villages in desert areas where you can enjoy visiting different historical architectures.
