Ardakan

Ardakan is the largest city in Yazd province and the country's steel pivot. The city has a fairly warm and temperate climate, where its inhabitants have built various Qanats around the city for the sake of cool fresh water. Today, these Qantas are considered a part of Ardakan's tourist and historical attractions.
One of the ancient areas of this city is Zardok, which historical monuments date back to the 5th and 6th centuries.
Ardakan has the most important iron ore and uranium mines of the country. In terms of agricultural products, there are well-known pistachio gardens located in the villages of Chah Afzal, Ahmad Abad, Hassan Abad.
