Yazd Traditional Hotel ( Sonnati Hotel ) is a very old house in the heart of the historic context of Yazd and belonged to the famous family named Rashtian. According to the existing inscriptions, it was completed in 1797 and it was opened in 2006 as Yazd Traditional Hotel.
The 2-star Traditional Hotel in Yazd, due to its vast size, has 2 entrances in different directions, which go to small and large courtyards. There are sash wooden doors, two large stone ponds in the middle of the flower gardens, palm vases and pottery pots, which reflect all the glory of the house.
A masterpiece of the architecture used in one of the courtyards of the Yazd Traditional Hotel is the vaulted wooden doors and windows which are standing in two floors in making a good symmetry. The steps going down to reach the payabs of the qanat and the cool basements are the other signs of antiquity, origin and glory of the tradition of this beautiful hotel.
Yazd Traditional Hotel has 24 rooms (3-door, 5-door rooms) with 58 beds decorated in traditional designs, have enough capacity to accommodate many guests. Each room is equipped with facilities such as a refrigerator, a TV, room service, internet and a bathroom.
