Hajikhan Ecolodge

Hajikhan Ecolodge in Taft is a traditional garden hotel dating back to the early Pahlavi era. The garden house belonged to Haj Mohammad Ali Khan Farashah, known as Khan Mandal, which was opened as Hajikhan Ecolodge after being rebuilt in 2016.
When you enter Haji khan Ecolodge, you will see a large courtyard full of tangled trees which at first glance reveals a lush green garden. Within the courtyard, there is a magnificent 2-storey hall having a traditional Samovar and a traditional teahouse.
All around the courtyard of the Ecolodge, a plenty of canopies and wooden couches provide a cozy and relaxing place for guests to enjoy this beautiful nature and the nice cool weather of the countryside of Taft. At the end of the courtyard, there is a repaired mudbrick two-story old traditional house with a badgir.
Inside Hajikhan Ecologe, there are 4 traditional rooms with quilts, mattresses and pillows packed in the wide piece of cloth (Chador Shab). Each room hosting 8 people have wooden doors and windows with stained colored glasses that let the light and song of the birds enter the building. All in all make the atmosphere and sense of living in old times.
Traditional kitchen of Hajikhan Ecolodge in Taft is one of the most traditional parts of the eco lodge, which provides guests with hot bread, and on the request of the guests of the house, even baking bread is taught to them who can experience baking bread and feel life style of the local villagers.
